James E. Williams

Mr. Williams is a native Mississippian who has deep ties into the educational community. He is a graduate of Tougaloo College and the University of Southern Mississippi. He also has certifications in English Language and Mathematics from the National Center on Education and the Economy. Mr. Williams is a National Facilitator in Leadership and a Master Facilitator in Mathematics and Science for the National Institute for School Leadership.

In these roles, he works with school and district leaders, school leadership teams, instructional coaches and other stakeholders to develop executive leadership skills to meet the challenges associated with sweeping changes in the public education sector. Mr. Williams will be an asset to efforts to train the next generation of leaders and will be a tremendous for ambassador for MMEI.
